Managed IT Services

Day-to-day support, patching, monitoring, and a named engineer who knows how your environment is built.

Most managed service relationships fail the same way: everything is fine until something is not, and then it becomes clear nobody has been checking whether the backups restore.

We define what is monitored, what is patched, what is tested, and how often — in writing, with evidence you can inspect rather than a dashboard you are asked to trust.

Outcomes

  • A named engineer who knows your environment
  • Patching and update rings that are managed rather than assumed
  • Backups verified by restore testing, not by a green tick
  • Documentation kept current as the environment changes

Capabilities

How we approach it

01

Service desk

Support with defined response commitments set at levels we can meet consistently, rather than at levels that read well in a proposal.

02

Patch and update management

Update rings with a pilot group, staged rollout, and a documented rollback. Auto-updating everything on day one is how a bad patch takes out the whole organization.

03

Monitoring and response

Alerting configured so it reaches a person on duty, with a documented triage path. Alerts that route to an unattended inbox are worse than no alerting, because they create false confidence.

04

Backup and recovery assurance

Backup coverage reviewed against what actually matters, with periodic restore tests. A backup that has never been restored is a hypothesis.

Deliverables

What you receive

Written, handed over, and yours permanently — whether or not the engagement continues.

  1. 01Service description with response commitments and escalation path
  2. 02Patch policy with ring definitions and rollback procedure
  3. 03Monitoring and alert routing configuration
  4. 04Restore test evidence and current environment documentation

FAQ

Common questions

Do you replace our internal IT team?

Usually we work alongside one. Internal teams know the business; we bring depth on the Microsoft platform. Where there is no internal team we cover the full scope.

What are your response times?

Set in your service agreement and varying by severity. We commit to levels we can meet consistently rather than headline numbers that need caveats.

Are we locked into a long contract?

No. We do not use multi-year lock-ins to retain customers. If the service is not worth renewing, the answer is to improve the service.
