Microsoft 365

Plan design, tenant architecture, and migration for the platform your organization works in every day.

Most Microsoft 365 estates were configured once, quickly, by whoever set them up — then inherited by everyone who came after. The tenant works, but nobody can explain why it is configured the way it is, and the plan mix reflects a decision made when the organization was half its current size.

We start by documenting what actually exists: which plans are assigned, which are used, how identity is configured, and where the risk sits. The recommendation follows from that evidence rather than from a template.

Outcomes

  • A plan mix matched to how each group of people actually works
  • Tenant architecture documented rather than inherited
  • Migration completed without downtime or data loss
  • A governance model that survives staff turnover

Capabilities

How we approach it

01

Plan design and right-sizing

Organizations routinely license everyone at one tier because it is simpler. We segment users by what their role genuinely requires — frontline, knowledge worker, developer, executive — and design the mix around that. This is usually the single largest cost lever available.

02

Tenant architecture

Naming standards, administrative role separation, sharing boundaries, and lifecycle policy defined up front. Retrofitting structure onto a sprawling tenant costs several times what establishing it early does.

03

Migration

From Google Workspace, on-premises Exchange, or a tenant you inherited. Mail, files, identity, and devices cut over on an agreed schedule, with rollback criteria defined before any change begins.

04

Ongoing governance

Seats drift as people join and leave. We establish a review cadence that reconciles assignment against actual usage, so the estate does not quietly diverge from reality.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the difference between Business Premium and E3?

Business Premium is capped at 300 seats and bundles Intune and Entra ID P1 at a lower price point. E3 removes the seat cap and adds unlimited archiving, Windows Enterprise, and virtualization rights. Below 300 seats Business Premium is usually better value unless you need an E3-specific capability.

Can you work with a tenant we already have?

Yes — that is the majority of our work. We begin with an assessment documenting what exists, what it costs, and where the risks are, before proposing any change.

How long does a migration take?

It depends far more on data volume and the state of the source environment than on user count. A clean 50-user migration can complete in weeks; a messy on-premises estate with years of accumulated exceptions takes longer. The assessment gives you a real number rather than a hopeful one.
